A couple of weeks ago Joe had his first soccer game. Let me just say that 4 year olds playing soccer is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen! They were too cute! Joe's team huddles together before the game and yells "1-2-3 Crush!!"
The night before his game, I made shirts that said "Orange Crush #10's Mommy, Big Brother, Little Sister, Little Brother, etc. I couldn't find an orange shirt for daddy though. I think they're cute!
I expected a lot of wandering around, staring off into space, etc. Instead, this is what I saw
Let me tell you, those boys wanted the ball! The only downside to that is , no one wanted to play defense!! They all wanted to be on the offense chasing after that ball!!! Including Joe!
Joe was out there playing hard for 3 quarters! He looked SO Tired. Then when they sat him out for the last quarter he got confused! When he saw the other kids back on the field playing he thought that he was supposed to be out there as well. So he ran out into the field during the middle of the game. Too funny!
They won their first game 6-5! Woo-hoo!!! They have their 2nd game on Saturday...they're predicting rain :( So Hopefully it will hold off so that I can cheer my little soccer star on again!!!
