Gatlinburg 2009...Part 1

So...due to computer issues and just the general craziness that goes on around my house, I am just now getting around to posting our vacation pictures on here! Here is the first installation of them! We left for Gatlinburg on July 14th VERY early in the morning. The night before Ryan and I were pondering over whether or not the twins knew that something was up?? We got our answer that morning when Jacob woke up saying "Yay! Bye Bye!" So although, I don't think that he grasped exactly where we were going, he was excited to me going on an adventure while it was still dark out. Here are a couple of pics from where we stopped at a rest area...Their glasses are too cute!!!







It took us 7 hours to get to our cabin by the time we added in rest area breaks and stopping to look at Norris Dam in Tennessee. By the time that we got to our cabin, Emma had HAD it! She was tired, grumpy, and wanted out of the car seat! Not long after we got settled in, the twins fell asleep together in the bed! How cute are they???




After the kids nap, we played in the hot tub, went grocery shopping, did a little bit of sightseeing, visited Sugarlands Visitor Center, and got cleaned up for our next day of fun!








After all of that, the kids were pretty tuckered out and needed to rest for Day 2 of Vacation!




Except for Ben, apparently, because I couldn't find any Day 1 sleeping pictures of that boy!!!
