New Things To Do

As some of you know, Emma has been very anti-baby dolls. She tends to throw them down. Give that girl a horse or a stuffed dog anyday! Much to my surprise yesterday, she brought me a Cabbage Patch doll that I had found at a yard sale. She had one of her barettes and wanted me to fix baby's hair. She then carried her around for a while, fed her some tea and an Easter egg, and even read her a story!

I can only hope that this is a sign of things to come....and that someday she may actually prefer dolls! Because I know that I'm eager to buy her tons of pretty dolls and play babies with her :)

Yesterday we went to the Castle Park and had a "movie night." The twins have only been to the park a half dozen times or so due to illnesses, the weather, and my fear of being able to handle 2 2year olds at a park! The last time we went Jake would not do anything...he finally sat in the sandbox towards the end of our visit on my lap! So imagine my surprise this time when my little guy went straight for the slide! He couldn't get enough of it!

It was great to see him out and about enjoying himself with the other kids instead of sitting in the stroller watching. This summer should be a lot of fun for all four of them now that the twins are older and we can go back to doing some of our normal summer activities!
